Next Door Companions Ltd operate strictly as an independent introductory platform matching self-employed companions with local families. To ensure compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations, our services focus entirely on non-medical, social and domestic support.

 

What our companions do:

Socialising

Meal preparation

Light housekeeping

Laundry

Shopping

Running errands

Pet walking and care

Gardening help

Accompanying your loved ones to local appointments and outings.

 

What our companions cannot do:

Provide physical personal care to include:

 bathing,

dressing

 toileting

 to administer medication of any kind

 

If you or your loved one requires medical or personal care beyond our scope, our companions are contractually required to decline those tasks. In these situations, we will gladly guide you to trusted CQC registered home care providers in your local area to ensure your family gets the appropriate level of support.
